I recently checked in and found that the another song that sounds like Bacharach thread was deleted. It also feels like the quality of posts have gone downhill. It's nothing but obituaries and antiquated rehashings. I joined this board as a teenager and learned so much about music being on here but I don't feel like someone who joined this board today would gain much from it. Save this board.

I thought it was just me who was upset about the thread vanishing… Glad to know that i’m not alone in this battle. I also wish people were more active on here, it brings me joy when somebody posts on here—even though it’s usually once in a blue moon now. We need to find the magic again!

no its not just you. It's idiotic to delete threads especially ones that are popular. That thread taught me so much I would never have been exposed to and hopefully it can be brought back from wherever it is. Who is in charge of that? Can you tell us why it was taken away in the first place?

As one of the few millenials on here( I assume) the way to keep people on here is by making cross connections. I would have never stumbled upon albums like Minnie Rippertons Come to my Garden, 5th Dimensions Magic Garden probably never known who Jimmy Webb was. It is a crime from the pit of hell to get rid of that forum. Sometimes I have to remind myself I am not actually a 70 year old baby boomer who lived through the 60s and people in that group often can't comprehend the very nuanced musical knowledge I have attained. Please don't rob other of that. Please!!!!

Im going to answer my own question. The answer is yes. Eventually bots will take over this board selling stuff. There is not much of value left here.
