Thanks for the article. It brings tears to my eyes. What a loving, wonderful and dedicated mother Angie turned out to be. And I never knew that Nikki was a child prodigy on the piano.

i'm not new on reading about that,,,but,,,let me tell you ....what a story!!!
i think for every parent who received this "treatment",they would deserve a monument....

It was a beautiful and informative article. Angie deserves beaucoup credit for her dedication. Some of us may have family members who suffer from a variety of developmental and/or mental challenges, and can perhaps appreciate in some small way what Burt and, especially Angie, experienced. Only those so afflicted, I guess, can appreciate what Nikki's challenges were. God bless them all.
