Iâ€™ve heard Burt on many occasions correct people when they call his music â€œeasy listeningâ€.
We all know that his music is anything but easy!
Anyway, on this particular interview, it takes 6 seconds for him to get his point across.

I had a good laugh the first time I heard itâ€¦

i heard this once, i don't know who said it:

"easy listening is called "easy listening" because it is easy to listen to."

and then i added my own:

"elevator music is called "elevator music" because it elevates."

With these definitions, Burt CERTAINLY makes easy listening and elevator music, don't you agree?
