I still hope the old thread will resurface intact because it should not have gone but life keeps on trucking.

Here are some offerings to start off the thread

Terry Collier Ordinary Joe produced by Charles Stepney could pass for 80s Bacharach like if he were writing for Swing out Sister

Marlena Shaw looking through the eyes of love in parts gives 60s Dionne Warwick vibes and the brass section sounds like a few Bacharach songs if you guys can help me figure out which. The high pitch wailing sounds exactly like Johnny Mathis's Warm and Tender. This is another Charles Stepney production and it's pretty clear he was heavily influenced by Bacharach.
