"What's New, Pussycat" DVD

Just a reminder that the "What's New, Pussycat" DVD is now available, and at bargain prices of around $10. DeepDiscountDVD has it for about $9.50 and free shipping. I got mine last weekend and couldn't wait to see it.

"What's New, Pussycat" came out in the 1960s, after I was already a devoted Bacharach/David fan. Its music is some of my favorite Bacharach music. I hadn't seen WNP since the '60s and it was a real treat to see it again. Peter Sellers has a lot of fun with a script that isn't terribly inventive. If you've never seen this movie, and you love Bacharach, you really should buy, borrow, or rent it and get a real taste for what 1960s comedy was like. Woodie Allen wrote the script. Sellers is hilarious. Romy Schneider is a dream.
