Yeah, Mark, I was thinking the same thing, knowing you live in the Big Easy. For those who don't know: If the levees of Lake Pontchartrain give way, New Orleans could be totally devastated. May God forbid that should ever happen!

Thanks for your thoughts. We were on the verge of evacuating when Ivan started his slow turn to the north. Our good fortune was Alabama and Florida's misfortune. Judging by the devastation of Gulf Shores, Ala., it's amazing more people weren't killed or injured.
And there's another tropical storm in the Caribbean. I can't wait for this hurricane season to be over with.
