Remake of "Alfie"

Looks like Norah Jones isn't going to be recording the remake of the title song for the new film version of "Alfie", which is a shame. It's going to be performed by a singer by the name of Joss Stone. I've never heard of her. She and Mick Jagger are co-producing the song "Alfie", and Jagger is singing backup vocals, which is hard for me to imagine. They are also jointly writing three additional songs for the movie and a soundtrack.

oh, donÂ´t worry - joss stone is a much better and more inspired choice than either norah jones or alicia keys would habe been. remember aliciaÂ´s dreadful take on a house is not a home at the grammyÂ´s. joss is a 17 year old english woman and the greatest white, female soul singer since dusty springfield. she really is dusty reborn...what worries me however is that dave steward of the eurythmics is actually producing.
