Mr. Blair Cummings do you approve?

Come on, it`s not a matter of my approval. It`s just my opinion.
I never said no one was influenced by Bacharach. It just struck me that most of the examples were either well-known or a real stretch. It was when I saw the 416,000 entries that the whole thing had become irrelevant.
If you and others find it useful, enjoy!

Maxine Brown/Goffin King " Its gonna be all right" sounds like an early 60s Bacharach track especially with Cissy Houston and maybe Dee Dee Warwick?? on background.

Hattie Winston Pass Me By produced by Thom Bell. Sounds much more Brill Building than sound of Philly. It doesnt have any samples or interpolation but it sounds like someone was inspired by the lyrics of Walk on By imo.

Roslyn Kind, aka Barbra Streisand's talented sister, song Take Me Home sounds like a cross between a Bacharach/Webb tune.

I might as well put my 2 cents in.. A very nice tune from "Billy J. Kramer" done in Jan '65 written by one of Elvis's writers, Bill Giant, along with Kenny Lynch and Clive Westlake..the "Bacharachian" sounding tune "It's Gotta Last Forever" I enjoy this record.

This song def has that bright Brill Building sound to it. Funny it actually sounds more like a Goffin/King song to me but there are some Burtesque approaches to the piano playing..
