Hi all
My love of music was so much due to the wonderful output
of Jobim, Bacharach and Jimmy Webb from the mid 60s to early 70s
I guess there must be lots of forum members here who listen to
Antonio Carlos Jobim.
There's a very good series currently aired on BBC radio 2
The second one of the series is particularly good
For those who are interested , hear it online at this web page:

How appropriate is their comments about how the music
of Jobim "floats" above the melody
(Clauss Ogermann's strings arrangement must have a part in it)

Antonio Carlos Jobim was a fine talent...
I'll be listening...
---------------------
Enough can not be said about the great arrangemnts of Claus Ogerman
as well.
Listen to the following:
Frank Sinatra-"Change Partners"(Irving Berlin)
Sinatra on vocals
JObim on Giutar
and Ogerman arranging and conducting...
Genius!
