Those of you who know the confines of Ronnie Scotts will understand how I found myself virtually sitting next to Bill Cantos who was playing the piano in Herb Albert's band at his concerts back in May. In all honesty the concert was fairly pedestrian but I had a good chat with Bill who reminisced over his brief but regular moment of fame singing Little Red Book at our hero's concerts... and of course he recommended his new album....
