R.I.P.—Tony Bennett

Post by Bruce Bernard Williams »

A great voice has been silenced. Tony Bennett has passed away at age 96. He had one of this Era's greatest voices. My condolences to his family, friends, and many fans.

Tony was one of the first people to record a Burt/Hal Song.. B side to "Firefly" "The Night That Heaven Fell" another one of those exploitation songs not used in the film, but created to promote the film - not a great song, but a very good arrangement by genius Ray Ellis
