Putting a bit more meat on the bone, according to the link below the two London shows will feature a 'full symphony orchestra'. No word yet on whether there's further dates in other parts of the UK.

I hope there is more as I'm away from London that weekend. Bristol or Brighton would be near enough.

I better not say that I'm also going to be away from London on those days or there might just be a spate of burglaries!

The Festival Hall seats well over 4000 and as I write both shows are on the verge of selling out with only around 70 or 80 seats still available for both nights.

I wonder if Bacharach has ever played a concert in Berlin since the Marlene Dietrich days? Well, much to my amazement he's scheduled to play the Admiralspalast Theater in the city on July 14th. I have many friends there and several of them are planning to go.
