Songs Bacharach fans would appreciate(Old School)

This thread is different than another song like Bacharach in that it showcases artists that make beautiful music that simply showcases artistry that can be appreciated by someone who would appreciate the complexity of a Bacharach tune. Of course everything is subjective but still....
Il start with a song from Nazz(Todd Rundgrens group before he went solo) called " If thats the way you feel". This song is an art piece. It crescendos and descrendos in the verses in such a ambrosial and sublime fashion. It reminds me of some of Paul Mccartney's productions only when they were at their best.
