Burt's injury

Postby someonenameddavid » Fri Aug 26, 2016 9:12 am

It's in the news, but still, Burt's arm injury is a major downer for his legion of fans... if he just wasn't so active, he wouldn't get these injuries... if he wasn't so active, we wouldn't have so many chances to see him live. So, prayers and wishes for a speedy recovery and a great autumn and winter schedule...
There is a song, performed by the Carpenters (not written by Burt), which when slightly mis-heard, claims that the best love songs are written with a broken arm.... see this link

David.

Burt is the Albert Einstein of Music
In theory, there is no difference between theory and practice, but in practice, there is.

So if anyone knows, it'll be you David - how did he do it? Falling piano lid?

Only because he made no secret at the belly up bar... slipped on a Sandy step going down to the beach... I won't release private information. He did play the show with a broken arm

Sending love from New Zealand to Burt x

You know the native birds here (called Tui's) are whistling the intro to Magic Moments on a beautiful untouched little island I often go to, called Rakino Island (just outside Auckland). It's magical!

With love from Jennie Cruse, and on behalf of the Tui's! x
