RIP Andy White

Session drummer Andy White died of a stroke Nov. 9th, 2015 in New Jersey. He was called by George Martin (who was not satisfied with Ringo Starr's drumming) to play on The Beatles "Love Me Do". Two versions of that song were released, one with Ringo Starr and one with Andy White. He also played drums on the Beatles "P.S. I Love You", "It's Not Unusual" by Tom Jones and toured with Marlene Dietrich, conducted by Burt Bacharach. He was 85.
