Burt Bacharach on Èl Records

Post by Fussi »

I recently bought the "Make It Easy On Yourself 1962" CD. It's the third and last volume from the series. There are some fantastic tracks on it. I immediately ordered the other ones. What do you think?

Yes, it's a terrific compilation. Here's one of the highlights of the CD, Marlene Dietrich's 'Kleine Treue Nachtigall', which went on to become known as 'Kentucky Bluebird', then 'Message to Martha' and finally 'Message to Michael'.

"Kleine Treue Nachtigall" is one of my favorites, too. I also like the Jack Jones songs. I bought it mainly for the rare tracks.
