I happen to think that Hozier's "Take Me To Church" is one hell of a song. He has a great voice, too. That song knocked me over when I first heard it.
I had never heard of George Ezra (English singer-songwriter) until last week when he was the musical guest on "Saturday Night Live." He sang a song called "Budapest" and I think it's great... and I think he's great and will become a very major star in a very short while. He also has a great singing voice. (Maybe he's already a big star in the UK, I don't know.)
Despite the general state of pop music, there still are some very talented singers/songwriters out there.
