I was performing in a concert at the Library of Congress' Coolidge Auditorium on May 14 and happened to notice a rehearsal sheet taped to the wall backstage which referred to the following. I was horrified that I had missed the event, but it was apparently for an invited audience. If only video were being broadcast or otherwise made available. When Hal walked onstage, he got a standing ovation! Just great! I wish I could have been there.
