Since Giving details about the radio broadcast, I've discovered that the concert is being televised and edited down to a 45 minute broadcast on the night of the concert, on BBC2 from 11:20pm until 00:05am.

Just listened to a nice interview Burt did with Elaine Page on BBC Radio2 last Sunday. It concentrated on his film and TV work and included a stunning version of Bacharach performing "What The World Need Now" which I hadn't heard before.He also spoke movingly about his children including his daughter who commited suicide.

It is available until Sunday 19th at www.bbc.co.uk/radio2 using iplayer. I'm not sure if overseas users can access it but it's worth a try.

Bonjour Peter;

I listen to the interview and thought it was great!

Burt mentions the break up with Dionne & Hal in the early 70's. In essence, he indicated that it was his fault!!!

It takes a very humble person to admit their short comings!
Take care;

BBC2 TV is showing 45 mins of highlights of the Roundhouse concert at 1120pm 22/10. Should be available in iplayer for a week.

I would love to have gone but with standing tickets only available I had to leave it as I have a dodgy knee which would not have benefited by standing in one position for 3 hours.
