Hope you enjoy this rehearsal of Burt and Ronald Isley performing
an absolutely "breathtaking" version of "Alfie" !!!
What amazes me, is Burt's "enthusiasm".........he must be the "oldest"
teenager in pop music !!! :lol:

Thanks "Blue" for posting this great video.
I totally agree with you. And also, what amazes me is Ronald's voice.
It's pretty much intact after all these years in business.
Congratulations for both of them on this project.

Stevie Wonder loved the song so much that he had recorded a
instrumental version with his harmonica under his name in reverse
, i.e. EIVETS REDNOW
A good version indeed.

BBC radio 2 played it last saturday

:D Bonjour Blue;

Thanks for the clip of Ron & Burt! Great stuff!

Burt & Ron were on a PBS Special in the United States (2004) and most of the songs from that CD were sung live! I just hope this special will be release one day!

Take care Mon Ami.

Yeah, but it's nothing to do with the singer; it's just the absolute sublime beauty of the song.
