Hey, Tom - Thanks so much for posting the link to this song! It really is one of my favorite Burt tunes; so typical with its upbeat rhythm, brass bits, the girls'voices, and its unique melody. I've never been able to find the song on any compilation albums and I miss hearing it; only rarely do you find it played on a radio these days. I really appreciate your posting it!

Burts song for the christmas season

Post by blueonblue »

Greetings Tom 1234;
I must admit I,ve never heard this song before ?
Just found it in Serene Dominic's book he says it was covered by
Bobby Helms, Paul Evans,Herb Alpert and Bobby Vinton....among
other's..........and that it's a ( Larry Kusik-Burt Bacharach) composition.
Is this Burt's own version from 1968 ?
Anyway thanks very much for this wonderful song !!!
........."Then Santa said Jack Frost will bring my Christmas gift
to yooooooooooooou"...............An absolute delight !!!!!!!!!!!! :D
