Re: Bacharach a late addition to play the Glastonbury Festiv

I saw the show in Manchester last night and it was fabulous, my first time seeing him live, I must say that for a guy as old as Burt and self confessed non- singer I thought he did rather well, he definately sounded better than at Glastonbury. Josie James was brilliant on 'Anyone who had a heart', a...

Re: Bacharach David songbook to be Rumer's next Album

You have to admire Rumer for her good taste if nothing else, the way she's always referencing the likes of Burt Bacharach and Jimmy Webb. If she's decided to record an album of Bacharach and David Songs then it has to be good news and nothing to get negative about. One thing for sure, it will intro...

Re: Bacharach David songbook to be Rumer's next Album

"The Balance of Nature" is apparently nailed on to be one of the songs, she's replied on Facebook that she loves that song and it's on her list, although it's to be sped up a bit from Dionne's version.

Re: Bacharach a late addition to play the Glastonbury Festiv

Great news. For those of us not prepared to live in a field for four days, we can relax in the knowledge that all the acts on the main stage will be televised and broadcast live or otherwise. The Glastonbury Festival is essentially a rock event but has traditionally welcomed artists from different ...
