An odd and mixed review of the new album (and Burt himself) by the avowedly right-wing J. R. Taylor appears in the latest issue of the (not avowedly right-wing) New York Press. It can be accessed on line at nypress.com under the title, Pretending to Pray.

Despite (relatively) recent information that Amazon et alia could provide a copy of this album, my order has gone unfilled and ultimately cancelled everywhere. If anyone has had better luck, I`d appreciate hearing about it. Thanks.

What a great observation! It`s (now) obviously a composite photo with the camera lights casting the facial shadows. It`s probably too late to change the cover now, but I`ll chuckle every time I look at it from now on. If Vermeer could see this, he`d be groaning in his grave.

Burt`s vocals are few and scattered across his A&M albums compiled on the recent (and expensive) Something Big collection. Alas, there`s no single disc that contains them.
