maybe the trumpet player you're talking about is Warren Luening????
i don't think in 1967 was there ,but could be possible if you're telling me you talked with him.

i just received a new that Burt son Christopher is visiting her dad in hospital.I don't know if the thing is for real or not.

more than that Burt and Manfred did'nt get along very well during the session recording.
Even when they met at the Polar Prize in Stockholm for the tribute to Burt,almost did'nt shake their hands and Burt was still complaining about him....

she is absolutely amazing!!!the way she manages this unbelievable range is quite something!!!!
