I may have talked about this before on here, but you'll be interested to know that back in the day - like during the publication of this book....piano arrangements contained therein were prepared by others based by a couple of sources..what we call "lead sheets" provided by the publisher, ...

Hey, I remember hearing Les Reeds Arrangement for Tom JOnes' Its Not Unusual...I so noticed the 5ths in the low saxes in the phase "But If I ever" also the next bar- he did the same thing..these were on minor chords the III and The II chords..he really gave that chart one h*ll of a sound.....

I seem to remember Burt doing South American Getaway a couple of times, but I could be wrong ..its kind of hazy...There was a time in the early 70s when he had his singers on stage to perform some of the Lost Horizon songs..He had a mix...
