Re: Thanks for everything.

Yes, Burt was 94 and that is a good innings but somehow I just wanted him to go on. He was still composing until very recently. I saw him a few times at The Royal Festival Hall in London. Some of my happiest memories are of playing his and Dionne's albums on our stereo at home in the late 60s/early ...

Re: New Bacharach & Tashian songs.

I like these two songs and they are nice additions to the nine Bacharach/Tashian songs already released. Burt is 94 next month and we are so fortunate that he is still working and releasing quality songs. They may not be of the standard of Alfie or Walk On By, very few songs are, but they are still ...

Re: Two more Bacharach & Tashian songs

Of the collection so far, my favourites are Blue Umbrella, Midnight Watch and Whistling In the Dark...

Not as good as Alfie, Walk On By and The Look Of Love but good none the less

I think this well is dry.
Thease are downloads, so just download the new tracks and add to the folder containing the others.

21st Century Man is a gorgeous track. Love it.

Blue Umbella and Midnight Watch are also my favourites.

Wonderful to be hearing new Bacharach material.

Re: Two New Rarity Collections, Cont`d

The Andy Williams version of 'A Question Of Love', to me, feels over orchestrated.Song seems bogged down by too much orchestration. Would be better with a simpler arrangement, maybe even just a piano backing.

I had a quick scan back through through the board and couldn't see this article from May 2019. Anyway, I thought it might be of interest.

Re: Some Lovers in London

Thanks for the list pjlms......... On my second visit yesterday, the songs had greater impact. Most of them got applause, which is not always the case with new musicals in London, especially the power house performance of 'Welcome To My World' by Aaron Kavanagh who is a recent Musical Theatre gradua...
